We are seeking a skilled and certified Medical Equipment Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless installation, testing, and calibration of advanced medical devices in compliance with healthcare standards. You will ensure all equipment operates safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering/ATEM and possesses a valid STR and SIK.
Medical Equipment Technician – Job Specifications
1. Qualifications & Legal Compliance
- Education: Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Licensure: Valid Registration Certificate (STR) and Work Permit (SIK) for Medical Instrumentation/Electromedical Technicians.
- With min 1 year experience
2. Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Deploy and set up medical equipment according to manufacturer specifications, including electrical wiring, medical gas integration, and initial calibration.
- Testing & Calibration: Conduct operational testing and calibration certification to ensure precise measurement accuracy, in compliance with Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and execute corrective repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of installation logs, service reports, and calibration certificates.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in electrical engineering, medical electronics, and basic anatomy/physiology.
- Exceptional ability to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and service manuals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) regulations and radiation protection protocols.
